You ask for a review
When the app is ready for real customers. Until then it lives at a private preview address you can share with whoever you like.

A person reads it
Not a checklist run by a machine. We are answerable for what these apps do, and an app that takes money or collects personal details deserves a second pair of eyes.

You get plain notes, or approval
If something needs changing, you get it in words you can act on. Fix it and resubmit — a resubmission after a correction is not charged again.

It goes live
At a public address, or at your own domain if you have connected one.
One release, one fee
A fee buys a release, not a press of a button. If we send an app back for correction, fixing it and resubmitting costs nothing more — the work of getting that release onto a store is not finished while it is still coming back for changes.
Building is free at every point, including a build we refuse. Somebody must be able to make a file, put it on their own phone and change their mind, and nobody should pay to be told what is missing.
An app already on a store pays the update price for its next release, which is half.
